Hey Moms, running out of delicious and healthy recipes? You may stop worrying now because I have good recipes to share with you.

These recipes will surely give you full meal for either lunch or dinner with your loved ones. I will make sure your kids will ask for more while dad will be so much in-love with you and the meal you just prepared for them.

I assure you this will be very easy to prepare and cook in less than an hour. Why buy food from fast food chains when you can actually prepare a good and healthy meal for your own family that will show your extreme love for them?

Moms, take advantage of the fa-meal-y time when it is within your hand. Your kids and husband will surely love what you've prepared than the meals just bought from fast food chain. Let me bring you to Asia with these scrumptious dishes!

MILK FISH PATTY
Ingredients:

Patty:

  • 1 Big sized - Milk Fish (either steamed or smoked), or any fish of your choice, deboned, shredded
  • 2 bundles - Spring Onions/ scallions, finely chopped
  • 2 bundles - Asian Celery (any celery if Asian Celery is not available), finely chopped
  • 1 tsp - salt (or 1 tsp fish sauce)
  • 1 tsp - seasoning (can add MSG)
  • 3 tbsp - Flour
  • 2 pcs - Calamondin (Calamansi) Juice
  • As desired - Japanese crumbs (Bread Crumbs)

Sauce:

  • quarter cup - Vinegar
  • 1 tsp - Sugar
  • 1 tbsp - fish paste (optional)
  • 1 pc - cayenne pepper
  • 1 pc - Calamondin (Calamansi) Juice

For Patty, mix well spring onions and Asian celery with the shredded milk fish. Add seasoning, calamansi juice and salt, mix evenly to fish mixture and add the flour. Once done, get a small amount of mixture, press in your palm making it like a burger patty. Deep/roll formed milk fish mixture to Japanese crumbs, enough to cover whole patty. Deep fry the patty. Once patty turned to golden brown, take it and damp with paper towel to drain excess oil. Fish Patty is perfect with sweet- spicy vinegar sauce.

For Sauce, mix sugar, cayenne pepper and fish paste (if desired) in vinegar. Beat well and serve with the milk fish patty.


YOUNG CHOW RICE WORLD...Young Chow Fried Rice is famous in Asia, a special cuisine most especially in Chinese Restaurants. I call this recipe Young Chow Rice World since I incorporate here different style of making the Young Chow Rice in Asia. I also made some twist on the recipe to make it more mouth-watering for Americans.

Ingredients:

  • 1 large bowl - Rice (servings good for the family)
  • 1 tsp - seasoning
  • third cup - Green peas, canned
  • third cup - Carrots, chopped
  • third cup - Corn, cannned
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 10 pcs Shrimps, unshelled
  • 4 strips bacon, chopped
  • 3 slices of spam, diced
  • 1 clove of garlic, chopped
  • 1 head of onion, chopped

Sauté garlic and onion in low heat and once caramelized, toss the green peas, carrots and corn. Once veggies are tender, mix the shrimps, spam, and bacon. Once shrimp turned red, pour the rice and toss very well. Pour beaten eggs to the rice and toss until the eggs blend well. Season the young chow rice and serve hot with Milk Fish Patty and vinegar!
