How Happiness Ovecame my Fear

Whole family at Bosay Resort
After many long years, our entire family had an outing again. Oh, how thankful I felt that day. My brother treated this outing as a gift for our parents' anniversary.
This was at Bosay resort, Antipolo, the nearest province from our place. We all prepared our food, swimsuits, and especially the cameras for this perfect memory.
Honestly, I cannot swim but I managed to enjoy it since it's once in a blue moon experience that our family can get together like this.
Besides, I don't want to be a killjoy during that time. So we went one by one to about six pools in the resort. I actually had fun but not swimming, only going down the water again and again. It may sound funny but that's the only thing I can do with water.
The last pool we went to was the Olympic Pool. That was the one that goes from four feet to six feet. I felt cool with it since I decided to stay in the shallow end. Then they all swam to five feet which is actually my height, so I can't go there. I told them I would stay there by myself but my brother told me to trust him and carried me all the way to five feet. When we reached it, I just held on the tiles. But he kept on pulling my feet and removing my hands on the tiles. I began to cry. Then my brother-in-law just helped me go up. After that, I became fine and revived my happiness.
I may not overcome my own fear of the water by myself but that experience, the happiness I felt while our family was complete after a long time, that great memories we had shared, were the ones that overcame that fear. I'm really looking forward for more fears to be overcome!
