What I Love About Family Life

Family life can be like living a dual life. You go to work each day and come home to a family life that is packed full of things to do, especially with teenagers that can't drive yet. After all, you have nothing to do but take them to their friend's house, after-school sporting events or to the fast food restaurant after working hard all day.
With younger children, your day is just beginning once you pick them up from day care on your way home. What I love about family life is it's never boring. No matter what you think you are doing after you get off work, you can bet there's something waiting you never dreamed of doing. You just go with the flow of this dual life that exists on a separate dimension.
Consider how boring and incomplete your life might seem without these diverse activities. On second thought...don't. If you get to this point, take a nap before it's time to pick the kids up from wherever they felt they urgently had to go. There's always time for your life when they get grown and you can't find any other things to waste your time on.
